Ok so I'm writing this after having a few drinks so forgive me If I ramble, but today for the first time I started to see beyond the normal "Mothers Day" routine of Flowers, Chocolates, Gift Vouchers to the local Health Spa etc…. but to view it as a chance to honour the beauty and wonder of the female spirit.

Throughout history the Goddess image has surrounded us. Aphrodite, Isis, even Princess Leia and Pink all represent the archetype of the female spirit - beautiful, strong, intelligent, creative and nurturing.

I could be completely off my tree but maybe this is what's missing in society at the moment. Less Aggression and More Compassion, Less Me - More We.

But hey Lady Gaga and Beyonce have just come on Channel V and they are poisoning a whole diner out of spite so really what the fuck do I know....

Now for something completely different last week we were very happy to receive the news that we'd gone Top 20 on the Aussie Airplay charts for Indie bands. And sincerely from the bottom of our hearts we wanted to say a massive thank you to everyone that is requesting "Get A Life" in Australia and "The Deal" in the US. You have no idea how much we appreciate the time out that you all take from your busy lives to show us support :)

Anyways Blog over, time to watch some football, drink beer listen to Def Leppard and be manly
