Sally Fields and Italian Meals

Oh Man we just got back from LA and we have had the most awesome time. We flew in bleary eyed a couple of Thursdays ago.

No sleep on the flight over, too busy watching Family Guy re-runs and Scarlett Johansenn movies.

Picked up our hire car - a Black Chrysler family wagon. Not the sexiest machine on wheels but u cant really transport 4 guys and guitars in a convertible Mustang.

Checked into our hotel - Ramada West Hollywood. OMG we have adjoining rooms - this is like a National Lampoons family vacation moment. Went to the local Starbucks to get a caffeine hit and then down to the new Guitar Centre on Santa Monica.

Casually crossing the road when this random Black Lexus nearly takes us out. Am about to hurl abuse at the driver when we realize it's Sally Field - shit how can you get angry at the flying nun? Anywayz she waves sorry and fly's on up the road.

Head back to the hotel, can't sleep so end up watching the Anzac Day footy clash - very weird watching Aussie Rules overseas, but was a great game and good to see Collingwood lose a close one:)

Next day we get to hang with the most awesome guys from Rock Band Entertainment - Tommy and Craig.

Ended up hitching a ride in their limo to an Aussie Party at the House of Blues. Nicknamed "The Golden Retriever" this thing was massive, and the bar at the back of it was awesome. If only the seats could talk.....I reckon there would be many fantastic Rock and Roll War Stories.

The night before our gig at The Whiskey we have dinner at this Italian restaurant on Sunset. The food was incredible, and at the table behind us was sitting a couple of Kardashians and an Osborne. The crazy thing was seeing the 10 - 15 Paparazzi camped out

front of the restaurant. What a weird bubble that must be to live in....

Next Day - Get down to business, it's time for the gig at The Whisky. The show went super fast, as we were having so much fun with the great crowd that rocked up. Set List for the night included The Deal, Cool Police and a new song call Get A Life.

The next few days we just partied and got to hang out which was fucking unreal, and is something that we are very grateful for.

Flight home was awesome as we got upgraded - Thank you Qantas!! and we cannot wait to get back over for a Summer Tour!! Once again thanks to Tommy and Craig from Rock Band Entertainment and Sat and his team at Musexpo for putting on such a great event.
