Well well well, sorry for the blog silence. Smack on the bum for me, just been trying to settle back into life after spending 2 months on the road in the USA. Bit of an adjustment period happening as I had grown use to my bubble. I liked my bubble; it was fun, challenging and full of music. Often a little smelly but hey who gives a shit right.
We had an amazing time and are filled with so much gratitude for everyone that supported us by coming to a show. We love you.
The last gig of the tour at The Whisky was killer. Personally I had tons o’ fun playing drums whilst the Go Go grrrls were grinding, highly inspirational and I highly recommend it.
Anywayz back to Australia and sat down eagerly to watch the Arias, as I wanted to get up to speed with what’s been happening Well fuck me the less said about that the better. I just deleted a whole rant I put together cause I thought what's the freakin' point in whining. All I can say is its lucky ratings were so fucked, at least a large % of the general populous didn’t get to see it.
In Brisbane was good to catch up with friends and family, and can’t wait to do another gig here. Unfortunately 2 venues have closed down, one venue being The Globe I will miss dearly because whether I was playing or just a punter going to see bands, my friends and I were always treated well, the other venue The Troubadour was a good room but the staff always made me feel like I wasn’t cool enough to hang there. Oh well didn’t bother me, I just gave my $ to the pub down the road.
Speaking of Gigs, We are excited to announce 2 new shows at The Hard Rock Café on Nov 25th and The Great Northern in Newcastle on the 27th. Sorry Brissie fans we will be back soon, till next time…. Peace!!
