Greetings from Asbury Park! Yes we have made it to the East Coast, and just had our first show here last night at a cool pub called Connolly’s just off of Time Square. Thanks to all of our new fans, and everyone that grabbed a CD off of us. Nearly didn’t make it, at LAX we had the check in from hell because Qantas gave us the wrong info, so we are at the counter having to rearrange the weight in our bags. Not the best thing to do when the queue for bag drop is a mile deep, I could feel the eyeballs of the other passengers burning holes into my back, oh well screw it. The actual flight over was interesting as well, I think they had the intern / work experience guy land the plane because it felt about as steady as a Las Vegas Roller Coaster. Some people were even applauding when it landed. Not sure if that was out of sarcasm,relief, appreciation or maybe a mixture of all or none of these. Our next show is Friday October 1st at The Saint in Asbury Park with our good friends Gedeon Luke, Open Till Midnight and The Escape Directors. Then onto Delaware for the Dewey Beach Music Conference, cannot wait !! Till then we will be writing, rehearsing , recording... nah bullshit screw working just wanna hang out on the boardwalk, drink beer and watch the series premiere of Dexter this Sunday.
